You will learn how to interpolate surfaces from different types of data, use DEM elevation files, use Map algebra for spatial analyst and cost distance analysis, using GRID commands, and using ModelBuilder. The projects will include siting a solar installation, determining fire hazard zones, analyzing water tables and working with the ESRI Hydrology sample, and locating elephant conservation zones in Kenya.
Working with Geodatabases, Linear Referencing & Geometric Networks, 3 days
This course teaches how to design, create and manage Geodatabases which provide enhanced tools for data creation, data modeling, and data validation. The Geodatabase will provide tools for creating and editing data while maintaining data integrity, and will develop a solid foundation for future development into SDE. Tools include subtypes and domains, topology, linear referencing (routes), and Geometric Networks. |
