Amigos de Sian Ka'an
Amigos de Sian Ka'an, based in Cancun, promotes the preservation of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, located south of Tulum. This includes almost one third of the Caribbean coast of Mexico. This class will be October 25-29 at the Universidad del Caribe in Cancun.

Working with ArcGIS for Environmental Analysis

This class, Working with ArcGIS for Environmental Analysis, is appropriate for new GIS users and experienced GIS users wanting more in-depth instruction. Juniper GIS courses are based on real projects, with an emphasis on the skills needed to successfully complete your projects.

Core GIS skills include compiling and organizing data, understanding projections, using symbology and labels, working with tables, working with edit tools, performing analysis, and creating finished maps. Students will learn these skills while working through typical GIS projects. Students will also be introduced to some advanced skills; such as, working with Spatial Analyst, using ModelBuilder, and using Google Earth.

Complete class outline is available on our website when you click on the above link.  If you have questions on the class, email John@JuniperGIS.com.  Students will earn 40 hours of education credit towards the GIS Professional (GISP) certificate.

There will be only four seats available in each class for $750 per person. Remaining seats will be filled by the participants of these two organizations or related organizations.
